Storyfolk has 390+ unique AI characters across 8 genres: sci-fi, fantasy, romance, suspense, urban, campus, slice-of-life, and ancient. Each character has their own name, title, backstory, personality, and relationship dynamic. New characters are added regularly.
Can I use Storyfolk on my iPhone?
Yes. Storyfolk is available on the web (no download needed) and as a native iOS app. Your stories sync across devices when you sign in. The iOS app provides a smoother mobile experience with push notifications for story updates.
What makes Storyfolk different from Character.ai or other AI chat apps?

Do I need to create an account to start chatting?
No. You can start chatting with any character immediately without an account. However, creating a free account lets you save your stories, sync across devices, and resume conversations where you left off.
Is my data private and secure?

For example, 'Aetherion Academy' is a floating magic school with 6 characters, 'The Night Ward' is an urban fantasy squad with 6 characters, and 'Neo Kowloon Memory Market' is a cyberpunk world with 6 characters. Characters within a world know each other and share a setting.
Is Storyfolk appropriate for all ages?
Storyfolk content is rated PG-13. Stories may include mild romance, conflict, and emotional themes, but no explicit content. We aim for the quality of a young adult novel — engaging stories that are appropriate for teens and adults.
